I met Casino Steel trough a drummer friend but I already knew about his previous band The Hollywood Brats. Honest John Plain was a friend I originally met at art college. Duncan Reid and Jack Black were working at the same place as John

2-WHAT WERE AND ARE YOUR MAIN MUSICAL INFLUENCES?

At the time my influences were mainly 60s – Beatles, Stones, Dylan, Kinks, Small Faces etc plus more recent bands such as Bowie, Roxy Music, New York Dolls and Velvet Underground

3-HOW MANY GIGS YOU´VE PLAYED,AND WHAT COUNTRIES DID YOU TOURED?TELL US WHAT WERE THE GIGS OR TOURS YOU MUST ENJOYED?


God knows how many gigs ,but countries played or toured were UK, France, Holland, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, USA, Japan

12-WHAT WAS THE BIGGEST AUDIENCE YOU´VE PLAYED,AND HOW WAS THE SENSATION?

A festival at a bull ring in Barcelona.
The sensation was like swallowing dried bulls blood when the kids started pogoing at the front and all the ancient dust from the bull ring blew over the stage

13-THERE WAS ANY VIOLENCE OR CHAOS DURING YOUR GIGS?ANY FUNNY STORIES? CAN YOU DESCRIBE HOW WAS THE MOOD AT YOUR GIGS?

We once played a secret gig as The Yobs but after about 10 minutes the crowd invaded the stage and all the equipment got wrecked. We never played as The Yobs again.

14-WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE PUNK SCENE OF NOWADAYS?

The world needs it as an alternative to all the manufactured rubbish out there.
