The Hypers and The Happy Mothers:
Biografia:
The The Hypers formed in the summer of 2006 in Lisbon and consists
of Gonçalo Larsen (guitar \ vocals) and Filipe Paixão (bass) and Pedro Veiga
(drums).
The band spent a whole year working on their first Demo entitled "Coming Out
Loud" which they released on CD and were quickly labelled as "energetic,
frantic with sweaty riffs that bite you".
They had some airplay on national radios and they also won some music
contests, but for more information about them check out :

Pedro Adriano Carlos (lead vocals) and Miguel Martins (lead guitar) are the brains and soul of this new age of degenerate artists from Porto, Portugal, who found at a very early age that Rock 'n' Roll and its decadence are their only means of expression - though, after 12 years of developing their style and sound, The Happy Mothers are far away from being your typical RN'R band.
On January 2012, for the first time in their collaboration, the two musicians found themselves separated by the enormous Atlantic ocean. Miguel went to attend a Music Production Certificate at Los Angeles UCLA, while Pedro was stuck in Portugal for several issues. At that inicial period, the band was fearing that distance would tear them apart, but distance proved to be the catalyst they needed to keep on writing songs. Using the email as their main mean for exchanging music and lyrics ideas, in a short period of 5 months, the two musicians and their usual collaborators*, came up with a new concept and a total of 50 new songs, for what is to become their next record - "The Black Sheep".
Between experiencing car crashes, bad break-ups, playing shows and songwriting together, Pedro and Miguel have now reached mutual feeling, and share one belief: no matter what happens in life, no one should ever fear what he is as an individual, and if one doesn't stick to his true self, he'll never meet true freedom.
That said, the two musicians feel the need to be the voice of a mind liberation, inspiring people to stop
oppressing themselves and to be free, believing in who and what they are, and not minding about what the system and anybody else may think about them. Come what may, that's what they'll do.
